Whether you are on a budget or want to add a personal touch to your wedding, surely you will never go wrong with a fabric flower rosette. If you consider creating a flower rosette for your wedding, here’s how…
Tools:
- Scissors
- Glue gun
Materials:
- Ribbon or any strip of fabric you have (for this tutorial, I used 50 cm of half inch ribbon)
- Floral wire (optional)
- Floral tape (optional)
Instruction:
1. Fold the ribbon to around 45 degrees.
2. Roll and glue. This would be the bud.
3. Twist the ribbon outwards, roll and glue
4. Keep twisting and gluing the ribbon until desired size of the flower is achieved.
5. Finish off by gluing the end of the ribbon at the underside.
6. Cut this portion if you want it flat (hairclips, gift accessories) or tie a floral wire around it to add stem (for bouquets).
This flower is ideal for:
- wedding bouquets
- wedding boutonnieres
- home/event decor
- gift wrap
- hair clips
- scrap books
- brooch
- fashion accessories
